The foundation on which every engineering discipline at our college is built, since 1996.
Since its inception in 1996, the Department of Science and Humanities has been the vertebrae of the entire engineering education process in our college. It has consistently supported all engineering departments by providing high-quality training in fundamental sciences and essential humanities, forming the foundation on which advanced technical learning is built.
The department comprises disciplines such as Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English, and allied humanities subjects. These courses equip students with strong analytical skills, scientific understanding, communication ability, and ethical awareness, all of which are indispensable for successful engineers. Through well-structured curricula, modern teaching methods, laboratories, bridge courses, and remedial classes, the department ensures that students from diverse backgrounds can cope with the rigor of engineering studies.
Faculty members are highly qualified and dedicated, emphasizing conceptual clarity, problem-solving, and holistic development. They also engage in research, seminars, workshops, and skill-building activities that enrich the academic environment. By continuously updating its pedagogy and aligning with evolving industry and academic standards, the Department of Science and Humanities remains a vital backbone of the institution, shaping competent, confident, and responsible engineering graduates.
