About Physical Education
As the saying goes, sports activity plays a vital role: physical education shapes the individual physically, mentally, socially and morally. The college believes in promoting health and physical fitness through sports and games, with a good sports field and sufficient space for training students in athletics and major games like basketball, volleyball, football and cricket. Students have ample scope for participation at college, inter-college, divisional and state-level events. The physical education department also conducts various intramural competitions for staff and students.
Our polytechnic college is a member of the Inter Polytechnic Athletic Association for Sports and Games. Special coaching is given to identified students to help them progress to divisional and state-level competitions.
