About the Library
The library — the treasure house of books and periodicals — is a centre of intellectual activity of any institution. It has developed an excellent collection of books, journals and rare material in engineering, technology, science and management. It maintains separate collections of reference books, bound volumes of journals, technical reports, cassettes, and compact discs, and continues to grow its holdings year on year.
Reprography Facility
Staff are available to take photocopies on the library premises. Students are permitted to take a photocopy of pages from books or journals through this in-house facility.
Reference Service
Students and staff may approach the library staff for information or assistance in using the library's collections and services. For special requirements, users may also reach the section-in-charge. The library maintains a separate reference collection covering GATE, TOEFL, GRE, Civil Services manuals, handbooks, personality development and self-motivation books.
Internet Service
24 computers with 10 Mbps broadband connectivity are available in the library. Students can use the internet service to gather information for projects and paper presentations. The service is available from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
Current Awareness Service
Displays job opportunities, personality development news and the latest collection of books and journals.
Student Information Service
Collects book requests from students, helps identify job-oriented reading and locates suitable material for users.
